Northeast DJs is excited to announce that we will be providing entertainment for the 2010 Lincoln Academy Prom! The theme for this years prom is a “Tropical Escape.” Students should expect to have a great time as I (DJ Greg) will be bringing an enhanced sound and light show as seen on our YouTube Channel. We look forward to seeing you all on May 15, 2010!
This is the fourth year in a row that I have had the honor of working with Lincoln Academy. In previous years the school has hosted their prom at the Taste of Maine in Woolwich. This year, the prom will be held at the Sumaria Haborfront Conference Center in New Harbor, Maine. I am excited about the opportunity to work with all the students at Lincoln Academy again this year!

On Saturday, March 6th 2010, DJ Greg Young from Northeast DJs made a special guest appearance at Rockin Roscoe’s Buffet and Lounge in Raymond, Maine. **Pictured to the right is the Owner of Rockin Roscoe’s, Roscoe Grant**
The Classic Rock Tribute Band TOASTED LOAF kicked off the evening for a crowd of roughly 100. Between the band sets, DJ Greg broke out his Denon S3700’s and mixed up some Hip Hop, Top 40 beats for the crowd.
Rockin Roscoe’s is fresh in its 2nd week of business. Located at 1227 Roosevelt Trail in Raymond, Maine, Roscoe’s is quickly becoming a household name with the Gray / Windham / Standish / Raymond / Naples population. DJ Entertainment is offered Wednesday through Friday and bands will typically perform on Saturday nights.

For those who are regular readers of our blog you are aware that Northeast DJs has quickly expanded. Due to popularity, Northeast DJs is now looking for an ambitious intern / associate DJ to help with daily functions of the business. This position will include a per diem wage during training. At the conclusion of the training period, the position will move to a contracted pay per event compensation.
Responsibilities will include:
- Regular email / phone correspondence with clients and owners.
- Ability to move and setup DJ equipment (minimum of 50 pounds).
- Ability to mix music
- Public speaking
Preferred Candidates Will Have:
- Previous DJ experience
- Communications background
- College degree
- Equipped with their own DJ setup
- Outgoing and personable
- Reliable larger vehicle
- Willingness to travel
- Night and Weekend availability

Northeast DJs would like to welcome Telstar High School as a new Maine High School client for 2010.
On Saturday, May 8th Northeast DJs will travel to Jordan Grand Resort Hotel in Newry, Maine to provide the entertainment for the Telstar High School Prom.
