Congratulations Chris and Chelsea Blais

Northeast DJs would like to congratulate Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Blais on their recent wedding celebration! Northeast DJs provided ambient room lighting, elegant lighting design, customized dance floor lighting and a full multimedia package including photo slide shows and music videos. Our experienced staff also worked with the bridesmaids and groomsmen to create a unique toast, taking Chris and Chelsea by surprise.

Chris and Chelsea were married at Martindale Country Club in Auburn, Maine on December 31, 2010. Thank you for allowing Northeast DJs to be part of your amazing celebration and Happy New Year to you and your family!

With a new academic year just underway, Northeast DJs has confirmed entertainment with a number of schools and colleges throughout New England. If you’re late on securing a DJ for a Fall 2010 event, no problem – we still have openings for September and October Homecoming and/or Halloween Dances. Also, many of our school clients are booking their WINTER FORMALS and PROM 2011 dates now! With only four Saturdays in May 2011, PROM bookings will surely fill up by Thanksgiving Weekend! Greg or Dan (Co-Owners of Northeast DJs) will be happy to “map out” a sequence of entertainment over the course of the academic year that fits your school’s budget requirements. Congratulations Jessica and Daniel

Northeast DJs would like to congratulate Jessica and Daniel Francis who were married on September 4, 2010 at the Holiday Inn By The Bay in Portland, Maine. DJ Greg Young provided music for the ceremony and reception for this amazing couple. I remember meeting Jessica, her mother and matron of honor at the bridal expo back in January. Due to the popularity of Labor Day weekend weddings, Jessica actually booked Northeast DJs at the bridal show.

Shortly thereafter, I began planning the details of the reception with Jessica and Dan. I got an immediate sense of the excitement and energy these two had. From the very beginning the emphasis was on music selection and the reception. It was an absolute blast working with Jessica and Dan and their ceremony and reception was truly amazing!

For the first time this summer I was able to showcase our contemporary package which included a full uplighting package, ambient light towers and premium light show. The video below showcases how these enhancements can set your reception apart from the rest!

Northeast DJs would like to congratulate Lori and Chuck Blackman who were married on August 28, 2010 at the Italian Heritage Center in Portland, Maine. DJ Greg Young worked with Lori and Chuck to plan a spectacular evening filled with excitement. Special thanks to our friend DJ Pat of Double Platinum Celebrations who referred this wonderful couple over to Northeast DJs. It was a privilege helping Lori and Chuck celebrate their love for one another. Here’s a recap of their reception:

Congratulations Erin and Erik

Northeast DJs would like to congratulate Erin and Erik Bjorkdahl who were married on August 7, 2010 at the Spruce Point Inn located in Boothbay Harbor, Maine. While attending the Portland Maine Bridal show hosted by the Maine Wedding Association we were fortunate enough to meet a handful of wonderful couples who later became clients. DJ Greg Young met and worked with Erin and Erik immediately following the Portland Bridal Show and was instantly excited about the opportunity to work with them both. It was clear that entertainment and music selection was a critical part of their reception. As professional entertainers we worked with Erin and Erik to create a customized entertainment package that met their needs.

Erin and Erik had the opportunity to make every aspect of their reception a reflection of their personalities. Through careful planning, Erin and Erik were able to put a personal touch on every aspect of their reception. Here are a few examples:

Congratulations Brittany and Elijah

Earlier this summer I (DJ Greg) traveled to Mt. Chase, Maine to provide entertainment services for Brittany and Elijah Arbo. I must admit, it isn’t very often that I travel that far north. As many of you know from following our blog the majority of the events we do are in the southern part of the state. However, after speaking with Brittany and Elijah there was no way I could pass on the opportunity to work with such a fun, energetic and inspired couple. Their vision for their reception was simple: they wanted to have fun! Surrounded by their friends and family Brittany and Elijah partied into the wee hours of the morning. Special congratulations to Brittany and Elijah on their recent marriage!

This summer has been incredibly busy for Northeast DJs. DJ Danny D and I (DJ Greg) have been out every weekend providing entertainment throughout the state of Maine. Looking back to earlier this summer I had the opportunity to work with newly married DJ and Jodie Alberding. I traveled to the Dockside Restaurant in York, Maine to provide audio coverage for the ceremony and entertainment services for the reception. The weather was simply amazing and as you can tell from the photos, the view during the ceremony was stunning! This was my first visit to the Dockside Restaurant but I certainly hope I have the opportunity to work there again.
