When Dan DeBruin and Greg Young formed Northeast DJs the vision was simple, redefine the traditional approach to mobile entertainment. Over the past two years Northeast DJs has seen tremendous growth. With growth comes change. Today, we are excited to announce that Northeast DJs is becoming Northeast Event Design. Changing our business name was a difficult decision but one that we deemed necessary. Now offering entertainment, lightscaping, photo lounge and multimedia services the title of Event Design is a better representation of the scope of services we offer to our clients. Our commitment to our clients is reflected in our dedication to offering trendsetting services. In previous years DJ Danny DeBruin and DJ Greg Young were awarded this distinction for their efforts as individuals Maine Disc Jockey's. This award is very meaningful for us as 2012 is the first year that Northeast DJs as an organization has been awarded this distinction. The growth of Northeast DJs has been strategic and our goal has been, and continues to be, to offer the best entertainment services in Maine. Our Second Season With The Maine Red Claws

The Maine Red Claws have selected Northeast DJs to provide their pre-game and introduction light show for a second season! Not familiar with the Maine Red Claws? Now in their third season, the Maine Red Claws play their home games at the Portland Expo located on Park Ave in Portland, Maine. Affiliated with the Boston Celtics, Philadelphia 76ers and Charlotte Bobcats, the Maine Red Claws play in the NBA Development League where they prepare players for the NBA. This is an exciting opportunity for Northeast DJs and we are proud to be associated with such a wonderful organization! We encourage you to buy tickets and check out the action at the Portland Expo! Portland Pirates Choose Northeast DJs

Northeast DJs has been selected to be the official entertainment provider for the Portland Pirates 2011 - 2012 season! Owners of Northeast DJs, Dan DeBruin and Greg Young, will be providing audio, visual and lighting services for select season ticket holder events for the upcoming season. As Maine's premier entertainment provider we are excited and humbled to add another Portland, Maine minor league sports team to our client list. In addition to providing entertainment services, Northeast DJs will be a Puck Pal Sponsor and will be donating 400 tickets to the United Way of Greater Portland. We look forward to seeing all of the excited fans stop by the Cumberland County Civic Center for some amazing hockey action!

Northeast DJs would like to congratulate Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Blais on their recent wedding celebration! Northeast DJs provided ambient room lighting, an elegant lighting design, customized dance floor lighting and a full multimedia package including photo slide shows and music videos. Our experienced staff also worked with the bridesmaids and groomsmen to create a unique toast, surprising the bride and groom. Chris and Chelsea were married at Martindale Country Club in Auburn, Maine on December 31, 2010. Thank you for allowing Northeast DJs to be part of your amazing celebration and Happy New Year!

Northeast DJs provided a customized light show for the Maine Red Claws as they kicked off their 2010-11 season against the Austin Toros! DJ Danny D & DJ Greg catered to a capacity crowd of 3,000 at the Portland Expo during the five minute pre-game light show!

With a new academic year just underway, Northeast DJs has confirmed entertainment with a number of schools and colleges throughout New England. If you're late on securing entertainment for a Fall 2010 event, no problem - we still have openings for September and October Homecoming and/or Halloween Dances! Also, many of our school clients are booking their WINTER FORMALS and PROM 2011 dates now! With only four Saturdays in May 2011, PROM bookings will surely fill up by Thanksgiving Weekend!
