Q. How long has your company been in business and how experienced are your disc jockeys with weddings?

A. Northeast DJ’s has over 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry. We have provided professional DJ services at hundred’s of wedding receptions.

Q. How much does Northeast DJ’s charge?

A. We try and offer packages for receptions of all sizes and budgets. Wedding packages start at $750 for a four hour reception (including cocktail hour and dinner service). Depending on the reception location and additional hours your detailed quote may be different. In addition to DJ services we also provide customizable wedding websites, videography, photo montages and company reviews. We have the ability to provide flat screen televisions and/or projection screens for your ceremony and reception. We recommend setting up a no pressure consultation so we can design an accurate quote for your reception.

Q. Does Northeast DJ’s have references?

A. Yes! Of course we are happy to help you make an informed decision by providing detailed testimonials from previous clients. Q. How early will you arrive prior to a wedding reception?

A. Our goal is to arrive between one and two hours prior to the start of your reception. This will allow us plenty of time to set up all equipment, do an adequate sound check and have everything in order for when your first guest arrives.

Q. What does the DJ wear to a wedding reception?

A. This is a great question! In our 20 years of experience we have heard horror stories of DJ’s who have not been dressed appropriately for a reception. We will be in a suit and tie for your reception and a tuxedo upon request.

Q. Will the DJ act as the master of ceremonies as well?

A. In addition to mixing great music, Northeast DJ’s are accomplished public speakers and will guide your guests throughout all of your formal events. This includes but is not limited to:  introductions, speeches, formal dances, and timely announcements. We will also communicate with your other vendors to ensure that everyone is on the same page throughout your entire reception.

Q. How much music do you bring to the reception?

A. Our music library consists of over 24,000 tracks. Should you have special requests, or ‘must play songs’, please let us know prior to your reception so we can make sure to have them on hand.

Q. Will the DJ take requests from our guests?

A. We encourage requests from you and your guests. In the planning of your reception we will provide your guests with a unique login to make requests prior to your reception. If you do not want guests to make request, simply let us know and we will remove this option!

Q. Will you provide back-up equipment in case of an emergency at our event?

A. Northeast DJ’s always carries backup equipment on hand. In our 20 years of experience we have never experienced any equipment malfunctions. (knock on wood!) However, much of the equipment we use is technology driven so we do keep spares on hand in the event that anything were to happen.

Q. Do you provide a written contract?

Q. How early should we book Northeast DJ’s?

A. The simple answer is…The sooner the better! We understand that things may be planned a year in advance or a week in advance. We strongly encourage you to contact us as soon as possible with as many details regarding your reception as possible. We will be able to provide you with a detailed quote outlining your entertainment needs.

Q. Can we setup a payment plan?

A. The retainer fee is required within two weeks of receiving the final contract and final payment is due 14 days prior to the reception date. We know that everyone comes from a different financial background so we happy to accommodate any reasonable payment schedule. Please communicate with us regarding a payment schedule that will work for you and we will put that into place.
